Keynote - Becoming a Lifelong Learner
Take a journey with college student, Travis Allen, and learn what it means to be a lifelong learner. This concept has an entirely new definition in today's Information Age and it requires us to create new skills while at the same time, embracing our inner student. Discover how schools, teachers, and the students themselves unintentionally obstruct their own path for the best possible education. And, most importantly, learn how to cultivate the right environment to break past these barriers.
DLR TOUR Experience
Step inside our 38-foot classroom-on-wheels and experience a complete mobile solution for schools. Along with inspiring presentations, the Digital Learning Revolution Tour demonstrates solutions for mobile technology integration and brings the full experience to your school’s doorstep!
Students - Students Lead Change
In order to transform culture around using technology in the classroom, we must empower our students to have a voice and lead change! Learn how to become tech leaders who role model what it means to truly be a lifelong learner in the information age.
Teachers - Transformative Teaching and Learning
Leading transformative change within education is not easy. This session will provide educators an opportunity to share the way they think, feel, communicate and implement transformative teaching and learning concepts across grade levels. Educators will explore project based, problem-based and immersive learning environments as tools to drive transformative learning within the classroom.
Administrators - Overcoming the Top 10 Barriers to Tech Adoption
There have been many consistent challenges that schools face as they move towards a 1:1 or BYOD environment. It takes more than just putting tablets in the classroom to create a successful learning environment. You have to build the right infrastructure, create a solid vision, and most importantly, create the right culture. In this session, we will discuss best practices and how to overcome some of the biggest barriers in your mobile deployment.
