iSchool Initiative’s Independent Consultants will assist staff planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of our premier Motivational, Cultural and Mobile Integration solutions. The Independent Contractor will work to deliver quality consulting services using established models, processes, and tools that drive success for our clients’ technology initiatives.

At our core, iSchool provides engaging culture building events and professional development to support teacher effectiveness and student achievement through 1:web integration tools.
We are looking for individuals to execute our programs and guide Administrators, Teachers, and Students through our Escape the Bus game and PD workshops as an example of what the classroom can and should like.
- Facilitate energetic and interactive youth programs in schools and other organizations.
- Learn and effectively deliver program script; include personal examples and stories as they relate during program delivery.
- Travel by car and air and out-of-state with all program-related equipment (if available).
- Maintain valid travel documents.
- Pass standard tests and background checks required to be certified to work with youth in schools.
- Represent iSchool Initiative and our interests to administrators, teachers, and students around the region.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and qualities:

Demonstrated ability to work and connect with young people and teen issues.
Experience leading large groups of people (e.g. acting, performing, professional trainings, educating, presenting, etc).

The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills; articulate, engaging and compelling.
Demonstrated ability in effectively reaching diverse groups of people with varied learning styles.
Self-motivated, organized, accountable, holding attention to detail.
Ideally will have education/training or equivalent experience in a related field.
Understanding of social oppression issues. Previous personal or professional work in this area preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel (usually around 5 days each month).
Internal motivation to learn and grow constantly.
DOT driver certification (we will provide the necessary training, paperwork, and cover all fees).
Compensation & Benefits
Daily rate per each iSchool program-day lead.
Note: iSchool programs run concurrently with the traditional school year calendar (August – May); limiting availability of work to those 9 months. (There may be less work during April and May)
Travel stipend: provided per program delivery.
Meal per diem: provided for all program days and travel days ($50 a-day)
